Hospitalizations and active cases remain with very slight variations

The health authorities notified this Tuesday three new deaths of patients with covid-19, with which the number of infected people who died in Galicia rises to 3,955. The hospitalized and active cases remain with very slight variations. There is one more hospitalized compared to the last part (up to 176), but the correlation changes: there is a decrease in the wards (from 171 to 170) and an increase of two in intensive care (from four to six patients ).
As for the deceased, Sergas reports that on November 11, an 88-year-old woman lost her life in the health zone of Santiago and O Barbanza. In the same health area, but on November 12, an 87-year-old man and another 60-year-old man died. All three had pre-existing pathologies.
More specifically, as regards hospital pressure, according to data released this Tuesday by the Ministry of Health, updated at 6pm on Monday, there are 170 patients on the floor (one less) and they drop from four to six people with Covid-19 hospitalized in intensive care.
By health areas, hospitalized in A Coruña-Cee fell to 46 (-7); in Pontevedra-O Salnés, up to 21 (-4); and in Vigo, up to 20 (-3).
On the other hand, they rise in the Ferrol area, up to 17 (+1); in Lugo up to 19 (+5) and in Ourense up to 30 (+5). The health area of Compostela and O Barbanza remains with the same number of hospitalized, a total of 23.
Similarly, to date, Sergas reports that there are 1,532 patients being monitored in their homes.
ACTIVE CASES AND CONTAGIONS
Meanwhile, active cases stand at 1,708, and the area with the highest number of covid-19 patients continues to be Ourense, with a total of 370 (+6). Active cases also rise in the Compostela area, up to 265 (+7) and in one case in Pontevedra-O Salnés, up to 150.
Cases are falling in the areas of A Coruña Cee, up to 296 (-19); up to 158 in Ferrol (-6); up to 219 in Lugo (-22); and up to 246 in Vigo (-14). The cases without assigned area remain four, without variations.
All this after Sanidade calculated the notification of another 171 new covid-19 positives in the last 24 hours. By area, the one with the highest number of new cases is Ourense (44). Lugo (35), Santiago-O Barbanza (29), Vigo (21), Pontevedra-O Salnés (16), A Coruña-Cee (14) and Ferrol (12) follow.
The number of doses of the covid-19 vaccine administered is 7,456,976.
