In a special Easter speech, the British Queen Elizabeth gave a heart to the British people. “The coronavirus will not beat us,” she said.
According to the queen, many celebrations this year are different than usual, but Easter is no less important. “We need Easter more than ever. As dark as death can be, especially for those who are now suffering from grief, the light and life are stronger,” she emphasized, referring to the candles lit at Easter.
It is the second time in a week that Elizabeth addresses the British people, which she rarely does. “I wish everyone, of all faiths, a blessed Easter.”
