According to sources close to Menson, the detective’s house housed several detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Police arrived at Menson’s home early Monday morning, Nov. 29, with a search warrant. The musician himself was not in the house.

Law enforcement officers from Menson’s home have seized data storage devices for investigation, including hard drives, which will be examined before being handed over to the prosecutor’s office.

Several people who had been in contact with a rock musician admitted that the room was “a solitary cell used for the psychological torture of women.” Menson himself called it the “Room of the Bad Girls.”

“He always joked about it, in such a great tone,” said Ashley Walters, a former Menson’s assistant and one of dozens of women who accused musicians of sexual abuse. She claims that Menson has told other people about the room.
