A Venezuelan citizen, who was practicing medicine illegally in our country, was intervened by the police when he was treating several people in a clandestine clinic located in San Martin de Porres.
Agents from the North 1 Police Division and the Depincri de Los Olivos, after intelligence actions, intervened at 12:15 in the afternoon on the property located in block R, lot 1 of the Daniel Alcides Carrión human settlement.
There, José Federico Quintero Sierra (34), a Venezuelan national, was captured red-handed, who was treating patients without having the authorization to do so.
In the same environment, five aggrieved persons were located, who were unaware that the foreigner was illegally practicing the medical profession.
A prosecutor arrived at the scene, who collected the evidence and began the investigations.
The Government, through the “Certification Program for Migrant Doctors, Nurses and Professional Technicians in Peru”, promotes the labor insertion of Venezuelan health professionals residing in the country.
