Benefits of cow and goat milk

Because they are animal products, cow and goat milk are both complete proteins.

In other words, they contain all nine essential amino acids which are necessary for energy production, tissue repair, and muscle building.

Both goat and cow milk are naturally high in calcium too.

“Both types of milk provide about a third of our daily requirement for calcium,” registered dietitian and spokeswoman for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Julie Stefanski, MEd, RDN.

“Several other foods also provide this benefit.”
