Elements of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC-CDMX) clashed with the staff of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the same agency, after the personnel assigned to that area tried to punish several policemen, who allegedly committed acts of corruption in the streets of the mayor’s office Gustavo A. Madero .
This incident left two uniformed men injured and a strong police mobilization, because when they tried to disarm the police, one of them “missed” a shot.
After this incident, police from the Pradera sector accused Internal Affairs personnel of arrogance and nepotism and assured that they are treated “like animals” and always violate their human rights, for which they requested the intervention of the Head of Government, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, and the police chief, Omar Hamid García Harfuch, to put “order” in the department.
According to the official version of the SSC-CDMX, after a supervisory visit by two officers from the General Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Secretariat for Citizen Security (SSC) of Mexico City, to a point reported by citizens where a vehicle arrest was possibly carried out, In Río de Los Remedios and León de los Aldamas avenues, San Felipe de Jesús neighborhood, four police officers assigned to the Pradera sector were brought before the corresponding authorities for attacking and injuring supervisors.

The SSC Internal Affairs personnel were notified that in the San Felipe de Jesús neighborhood, on the border of the Gustavo A. Madero mayor’s office with the State of Mexico, there was a unit in the Pradera sector that stopped vehicles apparently for no reason, therefore that requested the operators of the C-2 North Command and Control Center to assist with monitoring the area, while they presented themselves to the scene.
Once they reached the point, the police in the sector had detained the crew of a car, so the Pretores staff requested the last report from the Pradera sector to corroborate their actions in the face of the events.
However, the uniformed they began to struggle and attack the supervisors, who requested support through their radio frequency to arrest the troops for their probable lack of police action protocols.
Police Inspection cells arrived at the site, as well as personnel from the Prairie sector, with whom after a brawl, it was possible to restore order and secure four officers assigned to that sector.
The detained officers were also accused of snatching the weapon from an inspector and causing eye and face injuries to both supervisors, who were treated by medical staff with the diagnosis of frontal contusion and laceration.
The four policemen from the Pradera sector, involved in the events, were transferred to the agent of the Public ministry in the Office of the Prosecutor for the Investigation of Crimes Committed by Public Servants, for their probable participation in injuries and abuse of authority.
