An unknown man poured acid on a 52-year-old woman from Plovdiv. The incident took place around 1:30 p.m. today in an apartment in a cooperative on “Grigor Bozhkov” street in “Trakia”, and it was reported to “Maritsa” by the Plovdiv police. The man, who according to preliminary data was masked, broke into the apartment, doused it with liquid and ran away. “The type of liquid is being determined, at the moment it is not clear exactly what it is. The woman, who has difficulty moving, was taken to the hospital. According to preliminary information, her face was not affected. She was splashed on her clothes,” said the police. The call to 112 was made by a woman from Plovdiv who takes care of her.
The Ministry of the Interior is looking for the perpetrator. It is not clear at this time why it became a target.
