It is busy on the normally so quiet Scheggerdijk along the Twente Canal near Almen. Several police cars are parked on the roadside. Two large inland vessels are stationary on either side. A mountain biker stops to watch. Not surprising, because coming from the direction of Zutphen a big police boat collide.

Floating body
It is three o’clock in the afternoon and the police are fully focused. A body is said to be floating in the Twente Canal. About two hours ago, the police received a photo of a fisherman. Immediately alarm bells start ringing. Also with duty officer Toon Rikken. He’s setting up a crime scene.
