A migrant camp, already dismantled three times in the past, was again evacuated on Thursday August 17 in Strasbourg by the police, the Bas-Rhin prefecture said in a press release. “Operations went smoothly.“, indicated the prefecture, which recalls that the evacuation of this camp located in the Etoile park, opposite the town hall and on the edge of the city center, had been validated on August 7 by the administrative court (TA ) of Strasbourg at the request of the ecologist town hall.

Migrants from Albania, Syria, Georgia or Afghanistan
According to the municipality, this is the fourth evacuation of this camp, the object in the past of several passes of arms between the prefecture of Bas-Rhin and the town hall of the ecologist Jeanne Barseghian.
