A new wave of polar air This week began to cover the country, with a marked drop in temperature and snowfall in many parts of the national territory. This is how the National Metereological Service
(SMN), which pointed out that the cold has already arrived in Patagonia and will continue north, between Wednesday and Thursday of the same week.
“Probable snowfalls are registered in some specific sectors of the province of Buenos Aires, Córdoba, the Cuyo region and the Northwest region,” SMN said in a statement.
The polar climate would reach the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires next Wednesday, when winds of up to 50 kilometers from the southwest will be expected, a minimum of four degrees and a maximum of 12. On Thursday, in the agency’s forecasts, they mark the greatest harshness of the polar wave: showers accompanied by a minimum two degrees below zero and a maximum that will barely reach ten.
The improvement would come on Friday, with a minimum still very cold, of just one degree, a maximum of 14, sunny weather and with wind rotating to the west and northwest. The weekend would follow a similar trend, with lots of sun and temperatures that will be between 5 and 15 degrees.
