Bengaluru ∙ Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s brother Prahlad Modi was injured in a car accident. The incident occurred when the car carrying Prahlad Modi and his family hit a partition in Mysuru, Karnataka. Besides Prahlad Modi, his wife, son, daughter-in-law and grandson were in the car. The incident happened around 2 pm while he was on his way to Bandipur.
Police advised that the vehicle was not speeding. The speed of the car was 40-50 km per hour. But the driver lost control and crashed into the traffic island. Police said the incident did not occur in a busy area.
The front of the car was badly damaged in the accident. The car’s occupants were admitted to Mysuru JSS Hospital with injuries.
