Plaintiff fake diploma President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) Bambang Tri Mulyono was arrested by the police. He is one of the suspects in the alleged case of hate speech and blasphemy.

Bambang is known to be Jokowi’s actor on charges of false diplomas at Central Jakarta (PN) District Court. The case was filed with the Central Jakarta District Court and was registered under the case number: 592 / Pdt.G / 2022 / PN Jkt.Pst.
Jokowi is believed to have committed a wrongful act (PMH) in the form of false statements and / or providing false documents in the form of diplomas (proof of degree) for elementary schools (SD), middle schools (SMP) and Schools Superiors (SMA) on behalf of President Joko Widodo.
In addition, the Central Jakarta District Court was also asked to state that Jokowi had performed PMH in the form of submitting a diploma document containing false information and / or providing false documents as a complete requirement for his candidacy to fulfill the provisions of the article 9 paragraph (1) letter r of the KPU Regulation no. 22 of 2018 to be used in the selection process of the President and Vice President for the three-year period 2019-2024.
Central Jakarta District Court will set an inaugural trial on alleged fraud with President Joko Widodo’s fake diploma on October 18.
According to the Central Jakarta District Court official website, the defendants in this case include President Jokowi, the KPU as presidential election organizer, the RI MPR and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology.
