President Sebastián Piñera condemned the attack on a truck in the Region of La Araucanía, which ended with a 9-year-old girl wounded in the back by a pellet, for which she had to be transferred to the Hernán Henríquez Aravena Hospital in Temuco.
“I want to send my deepest and deepest support and solidarity to a family and a nine-year-old girl who was injured by a pellet. A group of terrorists attacked a family, burned a truck and cruelly and cowardly wounded a girl, “said the President.
And he added that “the example of that girl will help us maintain the strength and will to find, judge and punish terrorists who do not tremble at anything or anyone and are capable of wounding a nine-year-old girl.”
“This is something that we are not going to tolerate and we are going to pursue with the full force of the Law and the rule of law,” the President declared.
