JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Minister of State Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir say, two pharmaceutical company the red plate will cooperate with the G42, the company artificial intelligence headquartered in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UEA).
PT Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk will cooperate with G42 in developing vaccine products, including the Covid-19 vaccine as well as coverage of pharmaceutical products, health services, research and clinical trials, and marketing and distribution.
It is planned that in the third quarter of 2021, G42 will send 10 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine which is currently undergoing phase III clinical trials in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Then, with Bio Farma will work together on the procurement of intelligence test kits with laser technology to help track people exposed to Covid-19.
“This shows that the transformation in the domestic pharmaceutical industry has not made us good at home. The ability of the domestic pharmaceutical industry is not only able to meet national needs, but also to be a good partner in strengthening vaccine production for foreign markets, “said Erick in his written statement, Sunday (23/8/2020).

This is because, between G42 and Kimia Farma and Indofarma, they will conduct joint research, transfer technology, and cultivate the joint market for vaccines for the Middle East and the African continent.
