Pilsen – Pardubice 3: 4 PP, The shootout in Pilsen culminated in overtime! The guests have improved

Although the home team gained a two-goal lead after two thirds, the guests turned the score with three goals in the third twenty-minute period and Lukáš Kaňák saved at least one point for the West Bohemians with a lucky goal. Anthony Camara secured the second point in the East Bohemia in his second goal in the match.

Before the match, Pilsen forward Tomáš Mertl took over the jersey with the number 700, which commemorated his jubilee start in the extra league. The Indians forced an initial attack thanks to an active attack, but the goalkeeper Klouček stopped the shot by Blomstrand. In the 5th minute, Dynamo’s offensive was recalled, but Kousal did not shoot Svoboda up close. The Indians were close to scoring during a numerical advantage in the 12th minute, when Blomstrand hit only the left post with a blow.

After a while, the goal construction helped Klouček again after Dufek’s run, and on the other hand, he failed the renumbering from the Musil ring. It wasn’t until 12 seconds before the first siren that Bulíř found Přikryl’s back pole with a pass and it opened the score.

At the beginning of the middle part in a good position Schleiss fired outside and then the guests took the initiative. After Poulíček’s individual action, however, Kousal failed in the face of Svoboda, Hecla’s chance didn’t work out and on the other hand, in the 25th minute, Bulíř increased the lead to 2: 0 with a shot without preparation. Subsequently, the Dynamo players could not make it to the dangerous end despite the optical superiority.

After half of the match, the home team defended the weakening, and then the agile Bulíř did not beat Klouček in the left advantage. The most productive player of the extra league then knocked the right post in the 38th minute during the power play, and after a while Kodýtek fought the second post from the other side. Before the break, the guests were kept in the game only by Klouček, who also managed to finish Suchý from renumbering two to one.

After only 44 seconds of the final twenty minutes, Camara reduced the score to 1: 2 after a beautiful combination with his compatriot Robertson. The game then spilled over to both sides and in the 46th minute he equalized with a quick shot from the left guard Robertson. An open game seemed to fool Dynamo with 51 minutes played, when Cienciala managed to score another goal for Cienciala, coming in from the left, but his shot hit the post.

The successful shooter immediately offered a foul power play to the Indians, which they did not use, but in the 57th minute Kaňák sent the match into overtime by throwing from the blue line.

With 63 minutes played, Camara nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar.
