During the Thursday 7 December episode of A clean sweep the theme of gender violence is addressed on the emotional wave of feminicide Giulia Cecchettin, which shook the country and opened the debate on the condition of women. Guests of Corrado Formigli there are people of different cultural and political backgrounds, from the matrimonial lawyer Annamaria Bernardini De Pace a Francesca Vidaliyes Mario Adinolfi to the activist Valeria Fonte. This last one makes a statement that creates a sensation in the studio. Speaking of the freedom for a woman to do what she wants, naturally including dedicating herself to the production of adult content: “You are mystifying reality, you want to limit personal freedoms”, says the activist.
“You’re telling young people that being gay, being lesbian, being trans is something that comes at a certain point in life.” Obviously for Fonte this is not the case: “A child at two or three years old is already trans or gay. Talking about it at school is essential.” “There are not only boys or girls in this abysmal binarism… This is what scares you about gender theory. You just can’t do it“, he argues. Adinolfi doesn’t agree: “How can you say that trans children exist at two years old? How can you imagine a life bent to the logic of ideology and not of nature? But has a three-year-old ever seen it? But this is absolute ideological madness”, blurts out the former parliamentarian.
