Since the release of Will Smith’s autobiography in early November, the 53-year-old actor has not missed an opportunity to share personal stories from his past with the world. A bit too much, it now sounds to fans. A petition was even started against interviews with the actor and his wife.

From the account of his abusive father, who was an alcoholic, to his adventures in bed with dozens of women or his own jealousy, in his autobiography Will, and subsequent interviews with major newspapers and magazines, Will Smith is an open book. Only people are apparently not really waiting for the “spicy details” from the actor’s life. Especially on Twitter, Smith is “kindly requested to stop sharing everything”.
Shortly after some candid interviews appeared a petition on change.org with the intention of urging journalists to stop speaking to Smith and his wife Jada. After a week, the petition has already collected more than 20,000 signatures. In fact, at 25,000, it becomes one of the website’s most popular petitions. “Everything we learn about this couple is against my free will,” one signer joked.
