The perpetrator is Heru Erwanto (26), a resident of Ploso Klaten, Kediri. While the victims are Dira (20) and Dea (12). Dira is a student at a university in Surabaya. While Dea is still sitting at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. They are the children of Ismanto and Riyanti.
“From the perpetrator’s confession, he was desperate to commit murder because his love was rejected by the victim Dira,” said Sidoarjo Police Chief Kombes Kusumo Wahyu Bintoro to reporters at the Sidoarjo Police Station, Tuesday (7/9/2021).
Kusumo did not say clearly when the perpetrator’s love was rejected by the victim. What is certain is that at the time of the incident, the perpetrator came to meet the victim. The perpetrator and the victim knew when the perpetrator worked at a coffee shop owned by the victim’s parents.

The victim himself was found in a well at the back of the victim’s house in Wedoro, Waru, Sidoarjo. Previously, the perpetrator killed the brothers. The first to know was the victim’s mother who saw blood splattered around the well.
