People With Down Syndrome Kidnapped, Coffin In, and Cremated Alive Page all

LUFENG, KOMPAS.com – A man with down syndrome of China kidnapped, entered coffin, and cremated alive in the 2017 case.

The killer, identified only with the surname Huang, kidnapped Lin Shaoren so that he could be sold to a wealthy family to circumvent government regulations.

Gazetted South China Morning Post, Huang was hired by a wealthy family in Lufeng, Guangdong Province.

According to a case report in the Guangdong High People’s Court, Huang was hired because the family did not want to cremate their relatives.

It all started when a man who was also surnamed Huang died of cancer in February 2017.

In his will quoted The Sun Tuesday (13/4/2021), Huang wants his body to be buried, not cremated.

Lin Shaoren, a person with Down syndrome was kidnapped on March 1 while picking up trash on the streets.

The 36 -year -old victim was forced to drink large amounts of alcohol, and was placed in a coffin unconscious.

In court, Huang revealed that he immediately nailed all four sides of the chest and handed it over to Huang’s family.

Lin was then cremated alive. Meanwhile Huang was reportedly buried in a secret location.

The evil scheme of forgery of corpses

Huang’s relatives paid the killer 107,000 yuan (USD 239) for a malicious attempt to deceive the Chinese government.

A total of 90,000 yuan (Rp.201.3 million) went into Huang’s pocket. Meanwhile, the rest was paid to an intermediary surnamed Wen.

Lin was declared missing for two years, before his family found out he was the victim of a murder in 2019.

Reported Sohu News, the case came to light in November 2019 after the police examined surveillance cameras.

Huang was later sentenced to death at the Shanwei Court in September 2020. Had an appeal but was rejected.

Funeral said to be banned in several major Chinese cities, given the narrowing of existing land.

Therefore, people are encouraged to use cremation because in addition to being economical, it is considered more environmentally friendly.

But there are families who believe, funeral will make their dead relatives calm in the afterlife.
