La task force
On July 1, the Ministry of Justice will launch a special task force against pedophiles. Police had arrested a 43-year-old man in Bergish Gladbach last fall on charges of abusing his daughter when she was a child. According to investigators, the man filmed the abuse and shared it online. It was from there that the investigation started which allowed to unmask a network of pedophiles that reached as far as Austria and Switzerland. To date, 70 people have been identified and one of them was sentenced to 10 years in prison last May.
