Mexican-American Tony Leone will be a new Monterrey player for Clausura 2024 | TUDN Liga MX

Tony Leone, 19-year-old central defender, will be a Monterrey player for the 2024 Clausura Tournament of the MX League.

According to information from Diego Medida, from TUDN, “Tony Leone will be a soccer player for the Rayados del Monterrey. In fact, in the next few hours, he will be completing his physical and medical examinations.”

Only minor details remain for his arrival to be official, since the player has already been interviewed and doctors from the Monterrey medical team have already seen him.

Tony Leone will be included in the Rayados squad and he arrives in just one position, that of center back on the right, where coach Fernando ‘Tano’ Ortiz had a need. The young footballer would be the substitute for Víctor ‘Toro’ Guzmán in the defense of the Monterrey club.

Leone thus joins Monterrey’s list of reinforcements, in addition to Gerardo Arteaga, Brandon Vázquez and Jorge ‘Corcho’ Rodríguez for the Clasura 2024 of Liga MX.
