It is no secret that the actress Libuše Šafránková was a deep believer. In the last years of her life, however, according to the pastor and her good friend Jakub Sadílek, she was not afraid to open even more difficult topics of faith. Her curiosity was aroused mainly by her illness, which she suffered from in 2014.
She was beautiful, kind and very popular among the audience and colleagues. The smile of the actress Libuše Šafránková managed to brighten even the darkest nooks and crannies, and people loved him as much as the Cinderella representative herself. It is known that the actress was a deep believer and very fond of attending the church of St. Anežka in Prague in Spořilov. It is there that her funeral will take place on Friday, June 25.
Jakub Sadílek, pastor of the church of St. Anežka, he often met Libuše Šafránková. He was also a great friend for her and at the same time he became one of the last people who had the opportunity to see the smile of a charming actress. He visited her on the occasion of her 68th birthday celebration.
Lady with a deep soul
Pastor Sadílek met Libuška in her favorite church. “It gradually became a friendship, and I became her confessor. She actively participated in religious services and cultural events in the parish, “said Sadílek Flash in a radio interview. “A close friendship, as it was between us, is not very detailed, it remained hidden in the heart. But I will remember her forever as a charming lady with a deep soul who loved her family, ”the priest confided.
“In the last years of her life, she cared a lot about getting closer to Jesus. At the same time, she was not afraid to open up some difficult topics of faith with her illness, ”added Jakub Sadílek, who went to visit Šafránková on her birthday, and had no idea that he had seen her for the last time. “Her gaze and smile will remain deep in my heart forever,” he said.
Public farewell
Libuše Šafránková had many fans and supporters who would now like to pay tribute to their favorite. That is why the family decided to organize a public farewell, which will take place in the morning on Friday, June 25 in the church of St. Agnes. People will be able to light a candle or lay a flower for Cinderella’s representative. That afternoon, the funeral itself will take place in the family circle in the church.
