Tchibo reportedly sold its subsidiary in Russia and thus ceased operations in Russia. Immediately after the start of the war, the supply of coffee was stopped. It also stopped roasting coffee at a contract manufacturer in Russia, all marketing activities and online presence.
“We are stunned and appalled by the war against Ukraine and the tragedy it has caused,” the statement said.
