Tchibo announced its withdrawal from the Russian market.
Tchibo, one of the world’s largest coffee producers, announced leaving the Russian market.
The corresponding decision was published on company website.
Tchibo reportedly sold its subsidiary in Russia and thus ceased operations in Russia. Immediately after the start of the war, the supply of coffee was stopped. It also stopped roasting coffee at a contract manufacturer in Russia, all marketing activities and online presence.
“We are stunned and appalled by the war against Ukraine and the tragedy it has caused,” the statement said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the French company Michelin, which is a world famous tire manufacturer, announced its intention to transfer its business in Russia to local government by the end of the year.
