Thus, at Petrom stations in the capital, the price of a liter of standard gasoline is between 6.29 lei and 6.35 lei. And standard diesel costs between 7.50 lei and 7.53 lei per liter.
It is the first increase of this, after the one on January 1, when the price increases were due to the elimination of the compensation of 50 money per liter. Thus, on January 1, the liter of diesel fuel went up by 38 money, and that of gasoline by 36 money, because, also on the first day of the year, the executive reduced excise taxes.
The price increase on Saturday 14 January 2023 effectively cancels price reductions from Friday, January 6, 2023, when Petrom lowered the prices of standard gasoline and standard diesel by 5 bani and 4 bani per liter, respectively. Which means that Petrom has returned to the prices it displayed on the first day of this year.
