A new photo of a smiling Prince George was released on Saturday to celebrate his 10th birthday. The British Royal House has released a new publicity photo. The prince was photographed in Windsor wearing a plaid shirt and teal trousers.

George is second in line to the throne.
In a change of tradition, the picture was taken by photographer Millie Pilkington, rather than George’s mother, the Princess of Wales, who has often photographed her children on previous birthdays. Ms Pilkington had photographed Prince Louis on his fifth birthday in April.

Prince George recently completed his first year at his new school, Lembrook School in Berkshire. He started school there with his Charlotte siblings last September after the family moved to Windsor.

It’s been an eventful first few weeks of his summer holiday, with him attending Wimbledon last Sunday to watch Carlos Alcaraz win the title against Novak Djokovic, where he was pictured with his parents and eight-year-old sister Charlotte.
George was born on 22 July 2013 at St Mary’s Hospital in London and weighed 3.8kg.
