Al-Marsad Newspaper: Social media pioneers have shared a video clip of an Omani fan swearing to God he will divorce his wife, Umm Haider, if Saudi Arabia loses.
And the Oman fan said during the video before Saudi Arabia’s match with Mexico: “By God, that there is no god but Him, if Saudi Arabia wins today, I would divorce Umm Haider with three”.
The clip has aroused controversy, amazement and condemnation among the pioneers of social networks.
Interestingly, the Mexican national team defeated Saudi Arabia by two goals to one and the national team was eliminated from the World Cup in Qatar.
