Vacationers on the beach in Florida noticed a strange object that was on the coast. It resembled a large iron container with no openings in it. “It has probably been around a long time because everything is rusted,” she added. Officials said it was a ballast tank – a container used to stabilize a ship stated that the property posed no health risk to the public and a plan was being made to remove it, the news agency said. Because of its size, it’s difficult to move away. Kristen Kneifl, Resource Manager at Canaveral National Seashore, said the object doesn’t look like a chainsaw, so it needs to be removed from the water.
