Nvidia will launch GeForce Now in Brazil this year in partnership with Abya

Streaming platform will arrive in our country with localized price

A Nvidia announced that it will launch the GeForce Now no Brasil at some point in 2021. The game streaming service will show up in the country in partnership with the platform Abya, which also works with cloud games. In addition to our country, more locations in Latin America will be covered by the platform, including Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.

Abya will be responsible for the implementation of the GeForce Now in Brazil and other Latin American countries. On its website, the platform says it will deliver localized pricing and improved latency to ensure a better gameplay experience.

“ABYA’s alliances with local telecommunications companies will allow the service to reach the mass market and take advantage of the existing infrastructure,” explains the statement.

Registration for future tests

The GeForce Now website is also ready for launch in Brazil. The page in Brazilian Portuguese now has a link to the Abya platform with a form to receive news and participate in future tests.

Right after the presentation of the novelty, the registration page it was unstable, but access became more smooth over time. The form for the participation of future betas asks for name, surname, age, state and a valid e-mail address.

GeForce Now is a game streaming service that allows you to stream games purchased on platforms such as Steam, Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect. Prices in Brazil have not been confirmed, but the platform works out there in two plans.

The free version of GeForce Now allows you to stream to PC, cell phones and tablets for an hour, with a queue for access to the servers. The premium subscription, which currently costs US $ 9.99 per month or US $ 99.99 per year, allows you to stream your games for up to six consecutive hours, with priority access and on servers with RTX graphics.

With more than 10 million users, the platform could previously be used in Brazil through VPN, which is no longer possible. Even without local servers, the platform was already showing positive results, which raises expectations for the local launch.
