Nutrition consultant advises diabetes patients to avoid starches and sweets during Ramadan to reduce sugar levels.

Al-Marsad Newspaper: Nutrition consultant Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Othman sent an important message to people with diabetes during Ramadan.

And Al-Othman answered, in a video of him through his account on the TikTok application, the question of many who take medicines, and yet the sugar does not decrease.

He explained that the reason is the way and quality of eating in Ramadan, and he asked them to stay away from starches, white flour, various sweets, whole wheat flour, and reduce dates so that sugar decreases.
