Number of corona patients on ICU doubled in two weeks | Inland

On July 31, the ICs treated 19 corona patients. The number has therefore doubled in exactly two weeks. This is in line with the recent increase in the number of corona patients in hospitals, says Ernst Kuipers, chairman of the National Acute Care Network.

The number of corona patients in the nursing wards fell from 127 to 120. That is on Thursday after the highest number in a month and a half. The total number of corona patients in the hospitals remained 158.

The number of people with other conditions in an intensive care unit fell from 612 to 578, which means that a total of 616 people are in an IC unit. That number has fluctuated around 600 since 1 June. About 500 ic beds are currently not in use.
