jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Chairman of Indonesia Police Watch (IPW) Sugeng Teguh Santoso reacted to the suicide case of Novia Widyasari (23) near his father’s grave in Mojokerto, East Java (East Java).
Later the case dragged the name of a police officer named Brigadier Randy Good Sasongko Day.
Bripda Randy, who is known to be Novia Widyasari’s girlfriend, has been named a suspect and detained at the East Java Police Headquarters.
Sugeng stated that the most severe sanctions for members of the Police involved in criminal acts were being fired.
“Each member of the National Police is proven to have committed a criminal act, it will be dishonorably dismissed,” said Sugeng when contacted by JPNN.com, Sunday (5/12).
However, he said an investigation was needed to prove Bripda Randy’s actions against the victim. Novia Widyasari.
“Checking the code of ethics, if proven, he will stop,” said Sugeng.
In that case, Bripda Randy was charged with Article 348 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code.
