Nintendo Will Bring Game Boy and Game Boy Color to Switch Online

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Nintendo is rumored to be bringing its library of handheld games to the Nintendo Switch. Titles from the Game Boy and Game Boy Color series will soon join the NES and SNES games they offer through the Switch Online subscription service.

Nintendo is expected to let new gamers into classic games, and not just in terms of remakes like Link’s Awakening which was originally on the Game Boy and Game Boy Color. Including the Game Boy Advance, because those who played the new Metroid Dread deservedly played the Metroid Fusion prequel and some of the best Fire Emblem games ever made.

The Japanese game company has yet to provide an official comment on the rumors. “We have nothing to announce on this topic,” the party said Nintendo, as quoted by The Verge, September 3, 2021.
