Ever since Nintendo began introducing classic games as part of the Nintendo Switch Online subscription, fans have been hoping that the trip would come to Nintendo 64 games. Night to Friday, they finally got their wish fulfilled.

The Japanese gaming giant unveiled an expansion to Nintendo Switch Online, in the form of a new subscription type. The new subscription includes all the usual Switch Online elements, as well as a bunch of games from both Nintendo 64 and Sega Mega Drive.
Nintendo said nothing about price, but you should probably expect to have to spit in a few extra kroner a month.
Of the games included, Nintendo confirmed that there will be a number of great games, such as Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64 and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The Sega Mega Drive catalog includes Castlevania, Phantasy Star and Sonic. You can see all the games that are confirmed in the pictures to the right of the article.
Just like Nintendo did with the NES and SNES games on the Switch, there will also be separate controllers for the Nintendo 64 and Sega Mega Drive games. These wireless variants of the original console controllers are offered for Switch Online subscribers, and will probably cost around 500 kroner.
We are updating the case.
