These features, he says on his blog, “are totally optional. On the other hand, the personal messages you send will continue to be end-to-end encrypted at all times, so WhatsApp will never be able to read or listen to them ”. It is also specified that the company does not keep records of the contacts that users call or send messages to, nor can they see the locations they send, so they do not share any of this data with Facebook.
The update addresses optional business features that are intended to make communicating with a business secure, better, and easier for everyone.
