Heavy cumulonimbus clouds will develop and there will be thunderstorms, significant rainfall and local hail. The phenomena in Western and Southern Bulgaria and the Central Fore-Balkans will be intense, where the total amount of precipitation will reach 50-60 mm, and in some places in the Rhodope region and Ihtiman Sredna Gora – up to 80-100 mm, according to the NIMH website.

In the rest of the country the total quantities will be between 15-25 mm, and the lowest precipitation will be in places in the northeastern regions and along the Black Sea coast up to 10 mm. It will blow to a moderate wind from the eastern quarter. In most parts of the country the prevailing maximum temperatures will be between 20 ° and 25 °, in Sofia around 19 °. The rains will continue on Saturday night.

Heavy cumulonimbus clouds will develop over the mountains. There will be significant rainfall with thunderstorms. A red code for torrential rains has been announced for June 10 for Smolyan region. The expected quantities there are between 65 and 100 mm. Orange code has been announced for the districts of Montana, Vratsa, Gabrovo, Lovech, Stara Zagora, Haskovo, Kardzhali, Pazardzhik, Plovdiv, Sofia and Sofia districts, Pernik, Kyustendil and Blagoevgrad. Precipitation of 35 to 66 mm is expected there.

Yellow code has been announced for Vidin, Pleven, Veliko Tarnovo, Sliven and Yambol with expected precipitation amounts of 25 to 40 mm.
