Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov warned that his country’s military would no longer fire warning shots against British military ships entering waters near Crimea.

“We can ask for common sense, demand respect for international law, and if that doesn’t work, we can bomb,” Ryabkov told Russian media on Thursday as quoted Reuters, Friday (25/6/2021).
“The bombs next time will be placed on target and not just in the ship’s path,” continued Ryabkov.
Wednesday’s incident occurred as the British Royal Navy warship HMS Defender was sailing in the Black Sea in waters Russia claims as its own.
