NEW YORK — New York City police are asking for help finding a 9-year-old girl reported missing after leaving her Brooklyn school on Thursday.
Heaven Banton was last seen leaving PS 323 on Chester Street around 2:30 p.m., police say.
Authorities describe her as a girl approximately 4 feet 9 inches tall and 90 pounds. Last time she was wearing a black and white long sleeve shirt and black pants.
The NYPD released a photo of Banton to help determine his whereabouts.
Authorities ask anyone with information about this incident to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
