Currently, the University of Macau has not announced the opening time for 24fall master’s degree applications. However, the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Macau will add two new master’s programs in the 24/25 academic year, namely:
• MSc in Construction Project Management MSc in Construction Project Management
• MSc in Smart Ocean Technology Master of Science in Smart Ocean Technology
These two majors also accept applications for CET-6, CET-4, and CET-8!

Master of Science in Construction Project Management
Course Description: The course is designed to prepare construction professionals and practitioners in related fields to meet the current and future challenges of the built environment. To achieve this goal, this course will provide students with an in-depth understanding of the principles of project management and their application to the different stages of the construction project development cycle in order to achieve the best projects in terms of time, cost, quality, safety and sustainability Effectiveness.
This course will also teach students the latest technical knowledge about the construction industry and prepare students to meet the labor demand in the future market.
Educational system:
Full-time 2 years
Application requirements:
• Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification recognized by UM.
• The applicant’s bachelor’s degree graduation average grade is equivalent to *C+ or above
• Level 6 430/TOEFL 80/IELTS 6.0(5.5)/TEM 4/8* is equivalent to 2.3 points on a 4-point GPA scale, 14 points on a 20-point scale or 70 points on a 100-point scale.
Master of Science in Smart Ocean Technology
Course Introduction:
The course aims to train students to master the principles and technologies of marine information and data collection, big data science, advanced data processing, underwater acoustics and imaging, underwater communications and marine sensors, and apply them to marine equipment research and development, marine observation and forecasting, marine Management and other fields.
Students will have the professional skills to be competent in ocean observation and monitoring, ocean research and ocean high-tech industries.
