New international military exercises “Cossack Bulava” began in Ukraine / GORDON

The exercises will be held on the basis of the Inter-Service Training Center for military units and subunits at the Shirokiy Lan training ground, noted at the General Staff of the Armed Forces. About 2 thousand military personnel and more than 300 pieces of equipment from Ukraine, the USA, Great Britain, Canada and Sweden will take part in them. In particular, the 4th battalion of the Royal Regiment of Scotland arrived in Ukraine for exercises.

“These exercises are an important step towards the Euro-Atlantic integration of our state, because they will strengthen the operational capabilities of our troops, improve the level of compatibility between the units and headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the United Kingdom of Great Britain, as well as the United States, Canada, the Kingdom of Sweden and other NATO members.” – said the head of the training department of the operational command “Vostok” Colonel Vladimir Kokorev.
