A producer CD Projekt RED has announced that it will not be able to release ‘The Witcher III: Wild Hunt’ on next-gen PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles in 2022 – versions that will allow players to enjoy higher graphic quality.
The project was being developed by Saber Interactive, the same people responsible for the Switch launch of the game, but (apparently) CD Projekt RED decided to lead the development in-house.
“We are currently evaluating the scale of work that will be required and therefore times to delay the launch until we have news. We’ll give you an update as soon as we can. Thank you for your understanding”, can be read in the Polish studio’s Twitter post.
