Nearly 4 Million People Have Got First Dose Vaccine

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Until Saturday (13/3/2021) the number of people who had been vaccinated with the second dose reached 1,454,836 people.

This figure is the total of the participants vaccination the first stage (health workers) and the second stage (public officials and the elderly).

Meanwhile, the number of people who have been vaccinated against the first dose is 3,985,596 people.

This data was conveyed by the government through the www.kemkes.go.id page quoted by Kompas.com, Saturday afternoon.

Until this second stage, the government has targeted 40,349,051 people who have been vaccinated against Covid-19.

The second stage vaccination coverage only reached 9.88 percent for the first dose and 3.61 percent for the second dose.

Meanwhile, the first stage of vaccination targeting health workers with coverage reached 96.19 percent for the first dose and 79.75 percent for the second dose.

The target in the first stage for health workers is 1,468,764 people.

A total of 1,412,736 health workers had been vaccinated against the first dose and 1,171,385 were injected with the second dose.

Meanwhile, 295,093 health workers experienced a delay in injecting the first dose and 9,757 for the second dose.

Vaccinations Covid-19 is given two doses and the injection is carried out twice in a span of 14 days.

This was done to achieve herd immunity against the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
