NASA Plane Releases Wind Sounds on Mars

NASA aircraft last month successfully landed on Mars.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, WASHINGTON – The scientist behind the spaceship Perseverance The US Space Agency (NASA) has captured an audio clip of a laser shot using the SuperCam instrument for the first time on Mars.

The research team managing Perseverance released the audio files captured by SuperCam. The first files captured the faint sound of the wind on Mars. Last month, this rover safely landed on the Red Planet to look for traces of life that might exist.

“The votes obtained are of extraordinary quality,” said Naomi Murdoch, a research scientist and lecturer at ISAE-SUPAERO Aerospace Engineering School, as quoted by Antara. Jerusalem Pos/, Monday (15/3).

The SuperCam consists of a camera, microphone and three spectometers. The aim of this tool is to analyze the chemical composition of the rock by shooting a laser at it and looking for organic compounds that may be linked to past life on Mars.

The space laser was one of the highlights in January. A politician from the Republican Party, United States (US) once made a statement that lasers are the cause of dangerous forest fires.
