The representative in the Lebanese block of Kataeb, Nadim Gemayel, indicated to the “Here We Give You” program on the “Here is Lebanon” platform that there is an “open eye” on Ashrafieh, considering that there is a tense climate in Lebanon .
Gemayel said: “I don’t know if they are trying, through the injections and the hate they throw through some newspapers, to reach a convulsion in Ashrafieh.”
He explained that the Ashrafieh region is carrying out all its tasks, stressing that the night operation of the “Ashrafieh guards” is a natural matter and the result of the state’s reluctance to assume its responsibilities.
Emphasizing that the streets of Ashrafieh are ‘dark’ and there is an absence of safety, security and reassurance.
Gemayel continued: “It is our responsibility today as children of Ashrafieh to ensure the minimum level of protection, protection and reassurance for our people, and this is what we are doing”, considering that if the Brotherhood does not like this, then this is business them, and added, “We also don’t like their missiles or drones.”
Gemayel said that with the start of this initiative, he visited all the security services and put them in the mood, and they welcomed the idea and considered it a continuation of their role.
