The city is spending five million euros on city buses with electric drives for the old town. According to the SPD / Greens application, they should drive from the timetable change in 2022.

With 15 million euros Mobility stations to be further developed. According to the plans of the town hall coalition, car sharing, bike sharing and offers such as electric scooters or pedelecs are to be bundled there.

Five million euros will be spent on making Park & ​​Ride offers more customer-friendly: Combined tickets for parking and public transport should be possible at the request of Red-Green.

The CSU, ÖDP, Free Voters and the Left are calling for a 365 Euro ticket. The MVG is already warning of a “bottomless pit”.

“Individual mobile # 2021”

Under the motto “individually mobile # 2021”, the FDP and the Bavarian Party are bundling their proposals for Transport policy next year. These include: a digital traffic control system that should enable route selection, selection of the fastest or most sustainable means of transport, travel time in real time and more.

In addition, the parliamentary group calls for tighter cycles – for example on the U4 and U6 towards Garching. The resident parking permit system, however, has had its day: parking spaces should be bookable digitally. Cell phone parking should also be possible for P&R parking lots.

If the FDP and the Bavarian Party have their way, a trial run for a night subway will be set up next year and initiatives for autonomous driving will be discussed. Because: “Here Munich is completely oversleeping the trend,” said the city council group.

Second main route: plans for 2021

It is progressing under the direction of Kai Kruschinski: While the outer shells of the new S-Bahn stations at the main train station and Marienhof are almost finished, the interim elevator at Laim station will start operating in spring.

In summer the arched bridge, over which the tracks of the Second trunk line towards the tunnel portal at the Donnersbergerbrücke, to be completed. These are the MVV’s plans

Pop-up bike paths are coming back

Strikes from April?
