Accident the motorcycle fell off the overpass took place in Pademangan, North Jakarta. One victim died and another person was injured after hitting a traffic island and being thrown under an overpass.

The traffic incident started when IM (20) shared a motorcycle with IA (18) using a Honda Beat motorcycle with the number B-3886-ULB. They crossed from south to north on Jl Benyamin Sueb, Pademangan, North Jakarta on Monday (28/11/2022).
Suddenly, the motorcycle lost control on the Goyang Bridge overpass.
“Arriving on the Goyang Bridge overpass, the driver lost control,” said traffic unit chief for North Jakarta area commissioner Edy Purwanta, quoted as saying. detik comWednesday (30/11/2022).
Then, the motorcycle hit the concrete reservation on the overpass. One of the victims then fell and was thrown from the overpass with a height of about 10 meters.
“Then the driver fell between the sidelines of the overpass and the passengers fell from the top of the overpass,” Edy continued.

2 crash victims: brother killed, sister congratulated
The two victims were brother and sister. Traffic unit chief for North Jakarta region, Kompol Edy Purwanta, said that one person died as a result of the accident, namely IM who was driving a motorcycle. Meanwhile, IA, who was another victim, was injured.
“Brother IA had injuries to his right and left hand, blisters and lacerations to his left leg, he was treated at Koja hospital,” Edy said.
The accident also caused damage to the victim’s motorcycle: right side of the cap shell, scratched right brake handle, broken right mirror, scratched exhaust cover.
