Most Covid-19 patients were registered in Riga on Wednesday

The information available to the SPKC on 188 cases registered in the last 24 hours shows that 58 infected from known sources of infection, seven infected abroad (Belarus, Russia, Finland, Turkey, Greece), the rest of the infection conditions are still being clarified.

Today, patients are registered in 37 counties: most sick in Riga (84), Daugavpils (10), Vecpiebalga county (13), Kraslava county (11).

As reported, a total of 3797 people became ill in Latvia, but 1341 have recovered.

Seven Covid-19 patients were hospitalized last day, according to data compiled by the National Health Service (NSS).

A total of 79 patients are treated in hospitals: 73 with moderate disease, six with severe disease, according to the information collected by the NSA.

A total of 300 patients were discharged from the hospital.
