He Circus Theater Albacete will remain closed for the next few months to carry out “draft reforms”, as explained this Monday at a press conference by the president of the Provincial Council, Santiago Cabañero, and the mayor of Albacete, Vicente Casañ. Specifically, the circus ring, the air conditioning and ventilation system will be renovated and a small museum will be created with old objects and a space for a press room or conferences.

Therefore, heto Cultural Albacete programming, as of November 10, it will move to Municipal Auditorium or the Theater of Peace, with 18 proposals from six disciplines: dance, theater, lyric, humor, music and jazz, with established local artists, such as Goyo Jiménez, Joaquín Reyes or Antonio Campos, which will bring ‘La Celestina’ and ‘Lazarillo de Tormes’, recognized at the Teatro Rojas Award. Or the National Dance Company that will preview its latest show here in Albacete.
The shows of the PLATEA program, of the Ministry of Culture, will move to the Theater of Peace, with artists such as José María Pou. This fall’s Cultural program starts on October 3 and will end the December 20th, with “a strong presence of local artists”, as Ricardo Beléndez explained in Hoy por Hoy Albacete.
