Julio César Chagolla Salcedo he was a 27-year-old young man suffering from mental illness; Last Wednesday night he lost his life after being mistaken for a thief by the Municipal Police of Morelia, Michoacan.
According to his relatives, due to his condition, Julio made a mistake and entered another house that was not his, at Jardines de Toreo subdivision, in Morelia, place where he lived with his family.
For its part, Municipal Police of Morelia indicates that he went to the scene to attend a report of theft. Julio would have died after being shot by one of the agents; likewise, it was reported that one of the officers was injured.
The Attorney General of the State of Michoacán has already opened an investigation to clarify the casor due to the controversy and outrage over the death of Julio, supposedly at the hands of the municipal policemen, who opened fire on the 27-year-old despite the fact that relatives and vigilantes of the place warned them of his condition.

According to Julio’s family and friends, last Wednesday night, he would have been in the wrong house within the Jardines de Toreo subdivision due to the psychosocial disorder he suffered.
The owners of said house questioned him, to which he confessed that he had the wrong address. After this, Julio jumped over the fence to the next house, falling backwards in the garage of that house.
Given this, the security guards of the subdivision were notified of the location of Julio, whom his father had already reported as missing in the booth of the subdivision. The security personnel went to the site to help the boy who was locked inside the garage.
Between a neighbor and the guards they tried to reassure him, as he began to worry about what happened. At that moment, the place arrived Morelia police, which scared Julio even more. It should be noted that one of the guards informed one of the agents of his condition, In addition, he clarified that he was one of the tenants of the subdivision.
However, the shouts of the police disturbed him even more, what caused a nervous breakdown. When they opened the garage door, Julio ran away, while one of the agents shot him eight times, Jorge Octavio Hurtado González points out in his account Facebook, by accounts of witnesses.
