Reuters reported that, citing CDC data on the 23rd (local time), anaphylaxis, a life-threatening allergic reaction to the Corona 19 vaccine Modena, occurred at a rate of 2.5 cases (0.00025%) per 1 million doses.
According to the institution’s mortality and mortality weekly report, as of January 10, 10 cases (0.000227%) of anaphylaxis were reported among the 4.4 million people who first received Modena’s two-dose vaccine.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) warned that the risk of anaphylaxis is difficult to compare simply because the risk of anaphylaxis is still in the early stages of its vaccine program.
Anaphylaxis is a symptom that appears as shock to people who have an allergic reaction to the component when foreign substances such as food or drugs enter the body. There are cases of bee sting and death, which is also a type of anaphylaxis.
The CDC found that the characteristics of severe allergic reactions to the modder or vaccine were similar to those reported by the Pfizer vaccine. Earlier this month, it reported that severe allergic reactions to Pfizer vaccine occurred at a rate of 11.1 (0.00111%) per million cases.
On the CDC side, both Pfizer and Modena developed symptoms within minutes of vaccination, and were more common among women. Many people who experienced the symptoms had a history of allergic reactions, and some said they had experienced anaphylaxis in the past.
The FDA said it was necessary to have the necessary supplies at the place where the Corona 19 vaccine is administered, and that the treatment should be immediately injected if a suspected case occurs.
South Korea has signed a contract for 20 million modal vaccines. Moder and related stocks include Abpro Bio, Pharmicel, SK Chemicals, N2Tech, and Kumho HT. Pfizer decided to supply 10 million vaccines to Korea. Pfizer-related stocks include KPX Life Science, KPX Holdings Celltrion, Shinpoong Pharmaceutical, Jeil Pharm, Woori Bio, and others.
