In Ukraine, there is a shortage of electricity due to the massive shutdown of TPP power units due to lack of coal reserves

In accordance with the signed contract, supplies will be carried out during November, the Belarusian Energy Ministry explained.

Belarus resumed electricity supplies to Ukraine. This is reported by the official Telegram channel Ministry of Energy of Belarus on Saturday, November 6.

“Belarusian electricity began to enter the Ukrainian energy system on November 6. In accordance with the signed contract, supplies will be carried out during November,” the message says.

The ministry added that the delivery schedule was formed by the Belarusian side, taking into account the technical capabilities: operating modes of the power system and the capacity of generating equipment.

As a reminder, on November 2 it was reported that Belarus began supplying electricity to Ukraine within the framework of emergency agreement.

But on the eve of the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy German Galushchenko saidthat not a single kilowatt of electricity was received from Belarus. He said this at an hour of questions to the government in the Verkhovna Rada.

There will be no electricity imports from Russia and Belarus
